Dinner Under the Stars

We have several dining options available exclusively for guests, excludes accommodation

Whilst there are many fantastic and amazing culinary experiences to be had in the Adelaide Hills after dark, for those that wish to stay in and have dinner cooked for them, we have several different options available.

Note: A minimum 3 days notice is required for any orders.

Pavilions at Lenswood at Home Meals

$105 per person delivered to your room prior to your check in

Want to stay in, but don't feel like cooking, Pavilions at Lenswood offer guests an at home chef prepared meal option for guests to enjoy. Choose 1 course from each of the following options:

Please choose one item per couple from starters, main and dessert.

STARTERS
  • Soy poached free range chicken with sesame dressed soba noodle salad (marinated soy tofu may replace chicken for vegetarian option)
  • Harris smoked salmon encasing dill potato salad and lime marinated prawns
  • Chicken liver pate with port jelly, pickled vegetables, lavosh and croutons
  • Harris smoked seafood selection with caper berries, pickled red onion and horseradish crème fraiche
  • Adelaide Hills tasting plate, selection of cheese, smoked meat and fish, vegetables and house made pate with croutons

All of the starters are pre plated

MAIN
  • Salt bush lamb shank wellington with smoked bacon and parsley crushed potato
  • Daube of beef, classic French red wine slow cooked beef with roast garlic potato puree
  • Chicken tagine with preserved lemon cous cous and spiced roasted pumpkin salad
  • Prawn pie with creamed leeks, baby spinach, potato cheese crust and roast tomato coulis
  • Gateau of Crepes, charred seasonal vegetables layered with crepes and cheese with a porcini sauce

All of the main selections come ready to heat or baked with simple to follow instructions. Mains also include a selection of seasonal vegetables or salad

DESSERT
  • Persian love cake with vanilla bean yogurt and spiced honey syrup
  • Citrus yogurt panna cotta with rhubarb compote
  • Chocolate salted caramel tart with double cream and poached sultana syrup
  • Toblerone Ice cream with warm Frangelico chocolate sauce and hazelnut lime shortbread
  • Trio of hills cheese with fruit nut compote, fresh fruit and lavosh

All of the desserts are pre plated with sauces and garnishes to be added later

Selected meals will be delivered on the day of your arrival or your preferred date with many of the items as possible pre-plated with sauces and garnishes on the side.

Offering a selection of freshly cooked meals, that can either be baked or microwaved on site with instructions provided to ensure a delicious dinner.

Chef Experience

$245 per person

For those who want to spoil their partner or simply enjoy a personalised 3 course dinner prepared and cooked by an experienced chef, Pavilions at Lenswood offers in-house dinning and weather permitting; dinner under the stars. The selection of cuisine can be tailored to your preference. 3 courses with the option of either Entree, Main plus either Canape x 3 options or Dessert is available. A sample menu of this is below:

CANAPE - Choose from the following:
  • Mini round chicken and herb sandwiches.
  • Japanese beef roll with pickled ginger and wakame.
  • Truffled mushroom Arancini.
ENTREE - Choose from the following:
  • Pork belly with torched scallops and an Asian glaze.
  • Beef carpaccio with puffed capers and dill crème.
  • Crumbled lamb, crispy pitta on a bed of of hummus.
MAIN - Choose from the following:
  • Beef fillet, cooked medium with smashed potatoes, red wine jus and crispy parsnip.
  • Barramundi fillet with a dill mash, beurre blanc drizzle and charred broccolini.
  • Chermoula chicken fillet on a bed of pearl couscous, with a minted yoghurt drizzle and crispy beetroot.
DESSERT - Choose from the following:
  • Sticky date pudding with a caramel sauce and vanilla bean cream.
  • White chocolate panna Cotta with a berry compote.
  • Local Adelaide hills cheese platter with fresh and dried fruits, and house made Lavosh.
