Can I bring additional guests, children or pets?

Unfortunately Pavilions at Lenswood does not cater or accommodate room or bedding for additional guests or children. The pavilions are designed primarily for couples. Assisted living, care and guide dog animals are the exception and we ask that you contact us to arrange prior to booking.

What should I bring?

Pavilions at Lenswood offers a complete self-contained style accommodation. We therefore provide guests with all the necessary amenities you would expect from a boutique accommodation establishment and hopefully much more. However we do not have a concierge or a large number of shops nearby. There are many small townships located within 5-10 minutes drive of the locations, however being small their facilities and open times are not what is expected from capital city stores. We ask guests to keep this in mind when staying in a fairly remote and small township when they arrive.

When is check-in and check-out time?

Check-in is 3pm and a late check-out of 11.00am is offered to all guests. Entry is via secured key drop box. A code will be emailed to you prior to your arrival.

What to expect?

Luxury, tranquillity and an all inclusive and relaxing experience. Of course how much activity you wish to undertake is up to you. The area has amazing vineyards, restaurants, galleries, hiking trails and so much more, however, if you just want to chill and do nothing, Pavilions at Lenswood is perfect for that.

What do I need?

Just your personal belongings and any preferred dietary requirements. Pavilions at Lenswood supplies all bedding, toiletries, complimentary mini bar, continental breakfast and basic amenities.

What services do you offer?

We offer a range of in-house services that can be organised for you. These include massages, catering and picnic hampers. The pavilions provide free WiFi and Netflix for guests.

What if I lose my key or lock myself out?

Not a problem, please contact our reception and we will be able to assist.

What if I run out of something?

Pavilions at Lenswood are self-contained villas. By definition this means that during your stay you are ‘not requiring external or additional support’. Amenities and items are provided in line with the length of your stay. We do listen to what our guests would like us to provide, and we offer more than adequate items for a luxury stay. Please understand that if for example you burn the open fire for the duration of the entire day and run out of firewood, or you drink all of the milk provided and you require further supplies, purchase of replenishing these items is your responsibility.

How do I get there?

Pavilions at Lenswood is located 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD and is best accessed via Magill and Norton Summit Roads if coming from Adelaide. If you are driving in from Melbourne there are many turn offs from the South Eastern Freeway that you can take. We recommend the Mount Barker or Bridgewater exit; this will lead you on to Swamp Road, which is a main scenic road in the Adelaide Hills.

Is there public transport?

Unfortunately not, part of the charm of staying at the Pavilions is its relatively remoteness. A car is required and we have chauffeur partners should you require. Uber and Taxis are available, the fare will vary depending on distance travelled, however from the Adelaide CBD, A fare of approx. $70 -$80 one way should be expected.

Is breakfast included?

All bookings include a complimentary continental style breakfast, this includes bread and a variety of spreads, fruit and muesli, along with regular milk, Juice and Nespresso Coffee Pods.

Do the food inclusions cater for Vegans?

Pavilions at Lenswood welcome pack is seasonally based and is subject to change. Whist most of the food is vegan friendly, if you have any dietary requirements or preferences we suggest you bring these.

Are you taking bookings during Covid-19?

Following the state and tourism guidelines, it is currently at the discretion of the individual accommodation operator. Due to the nature of our pavilions being 2 x 54sqm self contained villas with a maximum of 2 guests permitted to stay and being completely separate from one other, we have made the decision to remain open. For guests safety, each pavilion is professionally cleaned between stays with hospital grade cleaning products, hand sanitiser left for each guests stay and where possible a minimum 24 hour vacancy between bookings after cleaning. All guests are also required to complete quick health online questionnaire prior to arrival for everyone’s peace of mind.
